OUR LEADERS

The Ong Ko Met Benevolent Association of Sacramento holds its annual Election of Officers in December.
Elected officers include: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, English Secretary, and Chinese Secretary.

Marvin Ong, President

Marvin has been an active member of OKM for the past twenty-one years, a Chung Wah Board member, and Chinatown Mall Revitalization representative. 
For nearly five decades, Marvin has been active in numerous local political, quasi-governmental, and civic organizations.  His father, Sam Ong was an OKM President from 1965-1966 and from 1969-1972. 

As President, Marvin represents OKM as a 2025 member of the
Board of Directors of Chung Wah Benevolent Association.

Dennis Dong, Vice-President

Dennis has been an active member of OKM for many years, following the footsteps of his father, David who was OKM President from 1975-1976 and from 1981-1982.  Dennis has been deeply involved in numerous association events and has been responsible for the design and creation of many of the associations banquet Invitations and correspondence materials.

As Vice-President, Dennis represents OKM at numerous public functions.

Michael Dong, Treasurer

Michael has been a important member of OKM and has previously served as Treasurer.  His timely quarterly and Annual Financial reports are a testament to his accounting skill, knowledge, and business acumen. 

Lillie Yee Shiroi, English Secretary
Madeline Dong, Chinese Secretary

Lillie and Madeline have both been invaluable to the Association in various capacities for the past 9 years.
Lillie was Vice-President in 2015 and represented the Association in working to beautify and revitalize the Chinatown Mall.
Madeline has orchestrated the OKM Incense donation efforts making sure all donors received receipts and their names placed on red banners for display on the entrance wall of the Association.
